Generously dry-hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe for a bright, piney punch, 1500 brings together orange blossom and grapefruit notes with a touch of honey sweetness. We don’t like choosing favorites, but 1500 is our perfect everyday hoppy beer.

Bottle @ hotel. Had this beer non-cooled, but it still tastes great. Lots of fruity hops and bitterness. Thirst quencher also. Lovely!

Bottle from Zombier, Málaga
Cloudy blond color with giant head. Hoppy aroma, fruity, pungent, a bit citrusy, light peach. Dry mouthfeel, with mild malt flavor, cereals notes, and very bitter hopping, with lean resins and bitter oranges.
Refreshing and aromatic.

Several 12 oz bottles with dinner at The Slanted Door in San Francisco, California. Served in a red wine glass, which was nice. The pour is a slightly hazed orange copper with a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is fresh citrus (orange and mango) hops, with a nice toasted malt backbone. As it warms, there is a pleasant fruit melon that appears as well. Inviting nose. The taste follows the nose, great balance between the fresh citrus hops (more pineapple and grapefruit) and the light toast bready malt. Also in the flavor is a nice grassiness, which really sharpens up the flavor nicely. The palate is medium to light bodied, cleansing carbonation and a dry citrus finish. This worked really well with Vietnamese food, nice one.

Bottle shared with Joes. Big soapy, foamy, rough white head. Lightly hazy orange color. Smell grapefruit, lightly pine and hops. Taste hops and bitter with a very nice grapefruit finish. Nice, suitable carbonation, medium body.
