Brassy and bright, like a shiny euphonium. Thin head. Fairly sticky sweet on the nose, albeit with a touch of crackery malt. The crackery part is more prominent on the palate, which is good. There’s still sugars…while they aren’t poorly extracted by any means they nevertheless fall short of the Bavarian/Bohemian standard. Not bad.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish golden orange with small white head. Light Bready malt, touch of caramel and toast, not bad.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is clean and gentle, with bread malt and a touch of toasted caramel. Flavour is nicely malty, with lots of bread malt, dry toasted caramel, and German lager yeast nicely expressing itself. This is about as good as a Vienna could be in my books. Clean, balanced, malty albeit not sweet. Very good.

Soft light clear brown body with disappointing foam, mellow caramel on the nose with vague cardboard and hop hints, stale hazelnut. Flavour is more stale hazelnut, caramel, chewy cardboard soaked in brown sugar. Good carbonation but a rather uninspiring Vienna.

Draught at the brewery
Beautiful copper colour, hazy. Nice aroma, delicate, malt, bread, also very light chemical thing, though. The body is lean, there's a bit of malt, bread and cereals, but it lacks of support, getting weak in the finish, and without apparent hop. It's clean and pleasant, but simplistic, without the malt depth of a great Vienna.
