Flight pour at brewery. Pours black with beige nitro head. Aroma has strained malts. Flavour has watered down malts. This beer's existence is irrelevant.

On nitro tap at Parallel 49, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma is dry, with hearty oats, dry cocoa and a hint of roast. Flavour is hearty, with a nice clean oat character, light cocoa, and just a touch of sweetness to balance. Clean and smooth. Fine.

Poured from the tap. Jet black with nitro off white foam. Dry subdued roast malt, light coffee notes.

403 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head of big bubbles for nitro. And some stick goo at the end of the pour... Aromas of creaming roasted malts. Flavors of weak almost sour barley and coffee. Definitely missing something and little body for nitro.

Jet black with a rich light brown head. Cocoa, molasses and dark chocolate on the nose. Cocoa, a little earthy and a touch of bitterness. Not bad, but nothing I would seek, even at the low price.

Good black body, foam could be denser for a nitro. Soft watery biscuit and barley on the nose. Flavour is soft dark coffee, rustic chocolate, but too watery again and where's that nice nitro fullness? A missed opportunity.

Draught at the brewery
Black colour with beige, creamy nitro head. Dry, smooth, it seems a bit weak, but even if muffled by the nitro, the roasted malt is quite nice. Good, clean, but fuck nitro.
