Murky orange body with yellow foam, nice sweet candy hops on the nose. Flavour is soft orange zest, pine, candied sugar, a bit muddy. Crisp mouthfeel and okay oiliness. Nothing exceptional but will get the job done.

Can from the brewery
Cloudy copper/amber colour. Light aroma of malt and milk. Bold mouthfeel, quite some caramel and cereals, followed by unpleasant chicory/vegetable bitterness, a hint of liquorice.
I'm drinking this side to side with the Buzzbait IPA, it doesn't have the same bready malt base of the Buzzbait, and it has a similar hop profile (so wrong). As Hazy IPA, this is much darker than the classic ones, indeed the malt would get too much in the way, but it doesn't matter because the hopping is not fruity at all.
This is wrong.

On tap at Fraser Mills, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out chalk, pithy stone fruits, and citrus hop bitterness. Flavour is bitter and sharp, with a citrus astringency, vegetal notes, and some pith. Super astringent, pithy, and vegetal. This needs some serious work.

Cloudy, sort of a pale amber. The aroma is really weedy. On the palate, also weedy, and really bitter. The malts aren't bringing much to the table. But I do like the hop character.
