Slow, reluctantly building-up, almost transparent-white head over big-bubbled veiled redcopper beer. Oxydation, bready, Madeira, bit of ureum, brown candi sugar. NB: well withing its BBd. Premature oxydation returning in the taste - maybe lightstruck as well? -, thinnish. Like watered-down maltsyrup. In the very finish there's a leafy bitterness, horsechestnut. Alcoholthinning, light alcoholburn, medium carbonation. Disappointing for its claims. >I> Thanks to Stef!

Dark amber with a creamy, sticky head. Aroma of (predictably) caramel, bordering on toffee. Apples underneath. Taste is bittersweet trending bitter at the end, a mix of herbal and faint metallic. Full bodied, mild carbonation. Good.

Pours a clear amber color. Light toffee on the nose, pale malts, caramel notes.
