Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Can. Amber with a large white head that fades to an inch quickly but then lasts OK. Aroma of bread, caramel, cloves. Maybe a bit of the fizzy side. Not all that sweet with almost a biscuity feel to the malt side of things. Not much banana but lots of cloves towards a finish that's bitter enough to shut the door. Has real presence but I wouldn't have guessed anything like 9% ABV.
