Flight pour at brewery. Pours clear yellow with white head. Aroma is floral with sweet esters. Flavour has some esters, partially restrained, floral notes, chewy malts. Shows better restraint than some North American Belgian styles, but still needs a lot of work.

473 ml can. Pours amber with full head. Aromas of corriander, subtle Belgian yeast and soft soapy malts. Flavors of apple cider, bitter banana, bitter citrus peel and wheaty malts. Bitter almost acidic finish.

On tap at Container, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose brings out coriander, light candi sugar and restrained estery notes. Flavour is less estery and sweet than most North American tripels; there's moderate bitterness, light esters, and floral notes. Not much complexity and this is nothing like an authentic Belgian tripel, but it's inoffensive.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear amber with full off white head. Esters, mild bubble gum and touch of banana. Mellow and, quite frankly, lacking...

Easy clear copper body and okay foam. Mellow wheat bubble gum aroma, soft caramel but not too bright. Flavour is chewy caramel and wheat dough, soft hit of banana. Full and smooth, abv well hidden, but it can't seem to decide if it's a witbier or a tripel.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy amber colour. Unfortunately the first smell is bubblegum, mild, followed by some bread and malt. There's some sweetness, good structure, some mellow malt, no Belgian character, not close to a proper Tripel, maybe on par with those contract brewed abbey labels, in Belgium. But it's clean and pleasant enough.

Clear dark gold with a rich beige head. Bready, baking spice and some cooked orange. Cooked orange and baking spice. Decent.
