A deep red beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted with notes of chocolate, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and chocolate. The body is thin.

Clear dark brown color, short head. Aroma of caramel malt, some chocolat. Taste is very watery, only slightly bitter, and maybe a tiny bit malty, but very weak.

Re-rate. I originally had this in London, the re-rate is from the bottle in Hong Kong. Got it at CitySuper in Tsim Sha Tsui. Medium chestnut brown colour. The aroma has some brown sugar notes, some darker sugars, some grains. The palate is predictably watery, but has some malt complexity, in the form of light nuts and dark sugar nuance. Faint roast. It’s not a bad beer, especially for its size. It has a good mild character.
