Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - jet black with a beautiful fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate, instant coffee and general roastiness. Taste - dark chocolate, hazelnut, caramel undertone and nougat. Boozy edge to it. Palate - creamy and full bodied. Smooth with roasty edges. Enduring finish. Overall - good. And great to find an Imperial Stout that isn't flavoured.
