Very dominant cask. Nose is tart, vineous, cinnamon, a little acidic. Dry-bitter taste. Wooden, astringent taste, decent fruity, some apple pie, vanilla. Really dry finish.

16-01-21 // 330ml bottle. Single Hop IPA barrel aged for 32 months in Sauternes barrels. Obviously no IPA influence except for a more bitter finish. Loads of wood. Leaning to sherry, lots of wood, some apples, a residual sweetness. But unbalanced. All around way too unbalanced. More than a small taster is too much.

33cl, bottle 714/1000. Intense fruity beginning. Lots of wood, lots of Sauterne vine. Hints of sticky hops in the back, interesting, very aromatic but somehow strange combination.

0,33 l bottle 0068/1.000 from their online shop. Murky flat dark orange with a small one finger head in the glass. Winery smell with malty background. Little bit dry. Taste starts also on the wine side, malty and hop bitterness in the background. Increasing dry hop bitterness. Alcoholic. I´m not a fan of the wine barrel series but this one is a better one.

Sehr trockener, säuerlich hefiger Beginn. Holzig, überaus trocken bleibend, leicht bitter, schwierig. Viel Holz, die Säure bleibt konstant, mittellanger Abgang. 8/6/8/7/11/7
