Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of Centennial hops, lavender, black grape and orange marmalade. Flavour of filter coffee, earth and hoppy bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Interesting and hoppy.

Bottle, courtesy of Giorgio from Yenn B&B in Leuven (great Real Ales fanatic). Pours a very interesting amber, white consistent foam, clear and intense. Fantastic nose of hoppy notes along with BBQ meat, caramel, malts. Mouth: bitterness all around the palate, bitter aftertaste (constant bitterness). Liquor feel (whiskey?), sharp end and very balanced overall taste. A very specific beer, good use of ingredients. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home from Battersea Beer Fest. Aroma is sweet caramel, toffe malts, spicy hop with light earthy orange notes. Nice golden orange colour with lasting frothy off white head. Flavour is Caramel orange, biscuity malt, touch of pine, mineral. Stuff berry esters. Quite sweet caramel. Balance is pretty good malt / hops. Low bitterness, slighlty earthy.

330ml bottle at home. Pours dark gold, thin, long-lasting white head. Aromas are tropical fruit, grapefruit, resin, caramel. Sweet malt is the first taste, hops coming through shortly after. Good bitterness, and a mineral, near saline note and the end. Very nice.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Clear deep golden. Aroma of stale hops, a bit weedy. Sweetish and caramelly flavor with light fruitiness, stale hops and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied.

07/09/2013 330ml bottle. Dorata, limpidissima, schiuma bianca abbondante, mediamente persistente. Naso stanco, note fruttate, leggermente agrumate e pinose, biscotto, caramello, non pulitissima. In bocca conferma le stesse sensazioni, non freschissima, caramello preponderante e amaro stentato. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Deludente per gli standard di Dark Star.
