Sweet malt, toffee and caramel and a touch of roasted malt is balanced by the clean fresh hop. Very full bodied but easy drinking with a pleasant bitterness – smooth, rich and malty.

Yesterday after an afternoon at Servion, rainy weather and a stout before to go to Spain the day after. To be honest, it was not my favourite stout, too light and watery, weak roasted malt, a bit metalic, few bitterness, drinkable, good for the apero, 15.01.23

440ml can into glass. As McCallum's Sweet Scottish Stout. Nitro widget. Pours red/brown with solid 2 finger head of crema. Light malt nose, a little bitterness. Smooth texture, sweet taste that lingers. Old fashioned milk stout style. Nice if you like that kind of thing.

Nito can, as McCallum's Sweet Scottish Stout. Clear dark brown with a good cm of crema head. 3+ Cereal and caramel aroma with some singed and metallic notes. Oof, they're not kidding about sweet. Mouthful of cotton wool texture.The singed notes and just a little bitterness do rein things in rather well at the end. A relic.

Belhaven McCallums Sweet Scottish Stout Smell-weak malt, faint coffee remains. Foam-thin, malt, faint coffee remains, bitterness. Head is tiny, and white-brown in color. Appearance- simple can. Clear dark ruby in color, no carbonation. From - pint Taste - malt, faint sweetness, faint coffee remains. More malt and very faint sweetness. Quite malty, somewhat neutral. If the price is good - not even bad, could take one more. If competing with other better stouts avoid it.

Kommt gut aus der Dose mit ordentlich (Unter?-)Druck, feiner Schaum. Farbe eher ins Rötliche. Sehr sanft, wenig röstige Bitterkeit, cremig und süsslich. Angenehm zu trinken.

Bottle, bought in Italy. Dark brown color. Apple syrup in the aroma. Sweet flavor, grainy with lots of apple. Apple syrup. Sugary sweet finish. Disappointing.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of light roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and herbs. Pours clear dark brown color with thick creamy tan-like head, good lacing and flat visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet roasted malt with toasty note, following is nutty and fruity, mouthfeel is silky smooth, while finish is moderate grassy bitter.
