Sweet malt, toffee and caramel and a touch of roasted malt is balanced by the clean fresh hop. Very full bodied but easy drinking with a pleasant bitterness – smooth, rich and malty.

05 l can. Pours reddish brown with a couple of fingers of dense nitro beige lasting head. Aroma is rather light, chocolate, caramel, dried fruit. Head has distinct chocolate flavor. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter. Flavor follows aroma, additionally it's kind of nutty, like biscuit with nuts. Body is light, texture thin and carbonation average. Finish is medium starts sweet and ends with more pronounced bitterness. Decent and drinkable, but nothing special.

Nitro-can, 0.44l. No funky widget inside. Pours deep ruby with one finger beige head. Thick and long lasting, excellent retention. Pretty good lacing. This one’s a looker. Sweet on the nose, heavily malty with lots of caramel. Medium body, very softly carbonated, almost flat. Texture is creamy but somewhat light. Taste is sweet. Sugary sweet even. Well, sweet stout it is I guess! Anyways, aroma is pretty much similar to nose. Heavily malty, lots of caramel and toffee. Sugar. Loads of sugar. A bit of honey. Syrup. Some extremely faint bitter notes towards the finish. Finish itself is yes, you’ve guessed it - sweet. Overall, sweet and sugary beer. Complete lack of roastiness in this one. If you love your beers sweet then this one might be just what you need. Otherwise.. steer clear. Not my cup of tea.

0.5 l canfrom Vrutak, Zagreb. Beer tasting at Brnja’s place. Clear dark red to brown, with small to medium off-white to tan head. Light roasty, very light caramel, a bit boring. Very sweet and sugary, to much lactose? Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lasting finish but again to sweet. Not bad, but exaggerated.

Boks 500ml fra Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune i heimen 2.2.17. Ultramørk amber. Småhissig. Høyt tett skum som daler til et ok nivå. God sjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søt lakris. For søt. På grensen til kvalmende.

500ml can kindly shared by Finn. Deep mahogany coloured body. Lasting fawn-coloured head. Spotty lacing. Smell of dark dough with dark fruity hints. Dark doughy flavours with hints of toffee and sweet dark fruits. Sweet and dry to the ending. Quite alright, just a bit unvaried and sweet (At Finn’s place in Tromsø 02.02.2017).
