Sweet malt, toffee and caramel and a touch of roasted malt is balanced by the clean fresh hop. Very full bodied but easy drinking with a pleasant bitterness – smooth, rich and malty.

Black color with big head. It’s a sweet stout, it’s quite light. Caramel malts dominates the taste. Light to medium body and medium carbonation. Very good beer.

355 ml. bottle from Netto. Clear, dark amber colour with a fast fading off-white head. Sweet aroma with lots of caramel, bread and a light roasted note. Not much bitterness for a stout, more like a well made dunkel. Light to medium sweet taste. Medium body, actually very good for the abv. Creamy texture with a soft carbonation, medium length finish where a little bit bitterness kicks in. Not a stout in the classical sense, still a good and drinkable beer.

33 cl bottle @ Celtic House, Seinäjoki
Aroma has toffee that is very typical to english bitters and hints of goldings-like hops. Actually, based on only aroma I would take this as a bitter, no hints of roasted malt whatsoever. Flavour has good balance between sweet, toffee-like and roasted, dry malt. Dry finish. Somehow I like this even though this is a bit odd stout. In blind tasting I would take this as an english strong.
