1 l bottle from 'Hofladen Sauerland', 5.5% abv, best before April 2024. A little hazy, deep golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, apricot and some grains. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some honey and a touch of apricot, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Pleasant brew, very well-balanced, rather quaffable.

Small, receding off-white head over darker straw coloured beer. Leafy, fresh breadcrust, rainwater, iron, even a bit greenwood. Leafy, earthy - sweet, but nowhere exaggerated. Sweet bread, moss-covered branches. Light body, but gristslick, medium carbonation. One litre of (sorry!) quaffable Märzen. Txs to Stef!

Süffiger, leicht karamelliger Getreidebeginn. Kernig, geringe Süße, feinherb. Konstante Aromatik, mild würzig, trocken herb-getreidiger Abgang, wenig Bitterhopfen. Klassisch, gelungen. 10/11/11/10/10/11
