As written in mythology, immortals feasted upon plums to replenish their strength and vitality across the ages. We don’t know about all that, but they sure taste nice in our Barrel-aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout, Deth’s Tar. Tastefully sweet, subtly tart, and totally awesome, this riff on our flagship Deep Wood beer deftly combines flavors of dark stone fruit with those of a roasty, matured malt structure. Enjoy now or store cold.

No surprise, I love this weird plum stout, it's revolution! But really something about the fruit forwardness of this just worked well for me.
20250714, fully agree, delicious plum notes all over a medium light bodied chocolatey base.

Thanks Virby44 for the can! Solo cup showing dark brown with no head.
The nose shows intense plum forwardness.
The palate is lightly carbonated and light bodied. Extremely plum forward with a moderate sweetness and a hint of latte bitterness.

Can thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is dark fruit, figs, toasted malt. Slick body, dark fruit, caramel, sugary malt, boozy, good.
Plum and chocolate
Dziwne te sliwki, bo troche jakby wedzone a w uscie slodkie. A ciala niezawiele. Ciekawe, intensywne, troche w tle jakies kandyzowane klimaty... alko schowane. Tylko kuzwa oddac cialo! bdb.

Pours a dark, rather thick, oily black, with mid-sized tan head. Aroma is still mainly bourbon, but with more of the dark fruit, along with some coffee, anise, roasted grain. Flavor is very sweet, with the plum flavor predominating. There's also a lot of the bourbon, some coffee, chocolate, anise. Finish has just the slightest touch of sour plum to it. This is a really good variant.
