Bottled. Deep dark brown color. Roasted malt, apple syrup and nutmeg in the aroma. Amazing body for the modest ABV. Licorice, malt, nutmeg and papple syrup in the flavor. Surprisingly drinkable. Nice one!

500ml bottle - black body, tan head. Bit thin and dull on the taste, but drinkable. An above average beer, but below average stout.

Bottle at home in London. Pours a clear, cola brown with a small, off-white head. Sweet, mild chocolate aroma with light lactic notes. Light cocoa roast flavor, light burnt sugars, some ash. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty bland finish, faint ashes and leaves, bit of roasted malts. Just drinkable.

500 bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours really dark brown with a foamy 2 finger darkish tan head. Smells like stout! Medium body with sharp, foamy carbonation. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with some chocolate and coffee. Maybe a little dark fruit. Finishes smooth, dry and somewhat bitter. Put it in a scotch barrel for 2 years!
