Panda at home, from Grumbo - cheers Graham, 12/12/22. Lightly hazed pale golden yellow with a modest white cap that soon clears. Nose is tarte apple, straw, light farmyard tones, grains. Taste comprises bitter sweet apples, tannins, trace of funk, orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad.

From bottle at Knights Tower 19.11.22. Cloudy straw colour. No head. Fine aroma and taste of yellow apples, apple peel, wood and a slight hint of barnyard. Good! Appropriately low carbonation. Some bitterness is lingering on.

Bag-in-a-box at the New Union, Kendal as Henry Westons Cloudy Vintage Still Cider. Hazy straw colour. Sweetish apple juice. A touch of vanilla. A hint of lemon tartness and barnyard funk. Smooth. It's fine if a bit safe, clearly designed to appeal to the mass market.

Must be a newish product as just added. Sediment noticeable at the bottom of the bottle and label instructs to invert to evenly distribute cloudiness. Pours cloudy with a little fizz, no head. Aroma of bitter sweet apples. Low carbonation and syrupy smooth body. Taste of moderately sour apples and a hint of cask oak, dry finish. This tastes less alcohol orientated than the original vintage and so its easier to concentrate on the cider itself and not the ABV. Possibly lacks an extra flavour note to take it to another level but I do like it.
