Creamy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice peated flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Excellent.

24/4/2021. Can shared with D&J at the welcome to Eva beer share. From Dan / Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours thick, black with a tan head. Aroma of smoked racked of rib with BBQ sauce, dark chocolate and ash. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted smoked bitterness. Full body, smooth texture, very soft carbonation. Drying meaty finish. Struggled with aspects of this one.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, licorice and smoked. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 190321

Can. Color: Black, long lasting beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee notes, smoke. Taste: Roasted malt, coffee and smoke. Subtle vanilla notes. Quite well balanced. Not that complex but very enjoyable. Over moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Smooth and sticky mouthfeel. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Boozy hints. Smoked meat and some cocoa at the finish. Nice one.

Can. Almost black. Smoke and roast in the aroma, thick body, sweet. Caramel, soft roast, licorice. A lot of smoke in the flavor. Very tasty.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is smoked ham, cocoa and roast. Taste has smoked ham throughout with chocolate on the aftertaste.
