Can. I'm not normally big on beers over 10%, I have found some almost treacle like. This one was very nice, smooth and full but not too heavy. Roasty, coffee, and chocolate moreisness, alcohol warmth on the way down. A real treat of a beer.

440ml can from S43. Pours black in colour, with a brown bubbly foam head leaving lacing and aroma of smoke, cured meat, roasty malt. Taste is sweetish, dark malty, ash, smoked meats, with molasses, cocoa, coffee and earthy roasted bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, drying roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
