No head to speak of; dark brown beer with russet highlights. ChocolateΒ³, really as cracking a tablet or melting for a sauce. Faint roast. Sweet chocolate mixed with some bitter chocolate and a boozy slash of fusels. Bit of pepper or even chili. Rather metallic than hoppy. Well bodied if not really chewy. Medium carbonation. ... interesting ...

Nice beer, especially when it warms up. Malty and strong, but balanced with a quite large dose of sweetness. Modern scotch ale, yeast driven, less barrel driven. Sterk ams

0.33 l can from Ambasada. Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Unclear brown, small beige head. Aroma is rich malty, dried fruit, dates and raisins, alcohol, brandy-like, salty caramel, molasses. Sweet, sticky, gentle, smooth, slightly oily, molasses, dried fruit, some peat, brandy. Light alcohol presence felt. Medium body, soft carbonation, warming lasting finish. Very nice and smooth.

Canned. Dark brown body, off white head. Huge raisins and caramel in the aroma, pleasant perfumey maltiness. Lean, fully malt driven body, dark caramel, dried fruit, mainly apricots, yeah, like Ogi said it, burnt sugar, herbal and mild phenolic notes, bitter, alcohol and light herbal bitterness near the finish. It is what it is.

33 cl can @ home. Batch #20.130, BBE 01/2022. Canned 30.11.2020. Aroma is rather sweet and even a bit musty with lots of sweet malt. Also cocoa. Flavour has sweet malt, caramel, cocoa, mild resiny notes. Finishes with intensive maltiness with mellow hop kick. Good, drinkability is not that great though. Rated on 2021-03-18.
