Can from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is sweet dark malt with caramel, dried fruits, some molasses, touch of plum. Hint of roast. Above medium sweet flavour, mild bitter. Medium body with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Decent.

Can. Dark brown with an inch of beige head. Toffee aroma with stewed and dried fruit. Some earthy notes. Barely medium bodied. Really empty in the middle. Cereal, singed caramel - although it's not that sweet. Fruit mostly drops away. Moderate bitterness creeps up after a while. Didn't cohere for me.

On tap at Eric the Red in Moscow. Pours opaque brown with a small beige head. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel, floral hop. Taste is light sweet, dried fruit, caramel. Medium bitter finish. Full bodied. Unlike any of the Scottish Wee Heavies I have tried.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a nice ivory-coloured head. Aroma and taste: Dark malts, dried fruits, caramel, toffee, earth, floral notes. Taste: Similar picture. Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Mouth feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Not exactly what you would expect from the style. Still it's tasty.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and yellowish beige. Aroma has strong breadyness, dried fruits, prune, some rye bread and caramel. Taste has breadyness, sweetness and richness of dried fruits, light caramel and dry herbs. Medium+ bodied. I like this beer, strong and complex flavours. Great.

Can, 9.2%. Good roasted aroma, sweetish malt syrup notes. Dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is very sweet. Loads of molasses and malt syrup, coconut, dried fruits. Tastes good, but very, very sweet indeed. Late roasted aftertaste.
