With the beer Tropical Space Muffin - if we can still call it a beer- we have aimed for an intense tropical experience and to reach that we ended up adding so much stuff the ABV hit 11,5%.
It's pretty intense now.
We were always in this ambiguous relationship with pineapple. We wished we could find a way to work with it but the fermentation profile was so far from the fresh fruit. And we didn't want to use pineapple aromas to enhance that. Instead, we tried to work with a fruit combination that leaves pineapple as the star of this beer.

Deep green blue colour. Thin head, poor retention. Aroma is banana, pineapple and subtle yoghurt. Taste is sweet, lacto, banana and light coconut. Abv well hidden. Candy like finish.

Draught @ Highlanders, Aarhus. Pours hazy blueish green with a very small light green head. Aroma of light malt, Rich sweet tropical fruit, quite sweet, pineapple, banana, light citrus. Flavor is sweet, light sour, light malt, rich fruity, sweet juicy tropical fruit, pineapple, passionfruit, banana, citrus. Full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet and light acidic finish. No sign of the 11%ABV. 091020

330ml can. Hazy deep green blue with a blue head. Aroma of pineapple, passionfruit, faint banana and coconut. Taste is sweet, sharp acidic pineapple, sweet passionfruit, hints of banana and coconut, tart citrusy grapefruit, lime, vanilla/lactose creaminess. Medium body. Alcohol very well hidden. Interesting and unique sour, looks like a novelty beer but is actually pretty great.

Tap at 100 piv. Rich turquoise colour. Loads of pineapple, also shitloads of other tropical fruit character, maracuja, subtle banana, coconut. Med-high sourness, feels pretty smooth though. Easy drinking. The over the top ABV is exceptionally well hidden, does not feel strong at all. Combines visual spectacle with great tasting beer. Great.

On tap at 100 pív Pours green :) with light greenish head. Oily texture, marmalade literally, liquid one. Very good sipper.
