Oatmeal Stout je crno pivo gornjeg vrenja oplemenjeno dodatkom zobenih pahuljica koje ovome stoutu daju bogatstvo i punoću okusa. Ono što ga čini istinski posebnim jest da unatoč robusnom tijelu djeluje glatko i kremasto. Dominiraju arome prženih sladova i prženog ječma koje asociraju na kavu, čokoladu i karamelu. Pjena kremaste boje krasi ovu crnu ljepoticu poput krune.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruit and flowers. Pours almost black color with large frothy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruity acidity and herbs, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild to medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Pretty decent…

Bottle ČP, well, figures I'd end up rating a Cro beer I have not had before there. Brown-red body, off white head. Chocolate and oats in the lean aroma. Okay, sweetish taste, again chocolate/roasty and oats. Simple, works.

0.5 l bottle. Thanks PBF pivica for this lovely birthday present. Shared with little Dina. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Aroma is roasty, slightly burnt, roasted nuts, charred wood. Flavour is intensely caramely with a fruity, honey and roasty touch. Phenolic plastic hint. Some alcohol. Slightly unbalanced. Soft texture, quite smooth, moderate carbonation, light dry finish. Not to style, but not that bad for this fake brewery.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep brown pour, two finger creamy beige head. Long lasting, excellent head retention. Lots of lacing on the glass as it goes down. Not bad on the nose, sweet and malty, cocoa, vanilla, latte. Light to medium body, lively carbonation. Somewhat light mouthfeel but texture has slight degree of chewiness to it, overall not bad on the palate. Roasty bitter taste, mild sweetness in the background. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa and coffee. Lingering bitterness, a bit off-placed, lingering metal notes in the aftertaste. Mild grainy. Overall, a bit lacking in the taste department, metallic bitterness overpowers everything else. Medium lasting finish, dry, roasty and bitter. Falls somewhere in between dark lager and stout. Decent on the nose, lacking taste-wise. Mediocre.
