Te Rheum is our ode to rhubarb, the crimson queen of the garden. This wild ale is a tart experience full of a fruity acidity in harmony with the wild character of the base beer. The intensity of the rhubarb is balanced by just a hint of sweetness to leave you wanting another glass.

Bottle at Wodan tasting. Yellowish color, small white head. Smell and taste are lightly sourish, tart-ish, rhubarb quite clearly imo. Not bad.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Funky, bit fruity, somewhat sweet and tart at the same time. A bit metallic(?) Not that much going on in the aroma, I expected more. Edit: Getting better, far more fruity and no more metallic after standing longer. Taste: Barnyard funk, sweetish and moderate tart fruity stonefruit (peach, apricot) combined with also fruity medium sour vinegar-like rhubarb notes. Some wood in the background. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite a lot of carbonation for this kind of beer. Getting better after standing some time. Also better balance after some time standing. Long lasting tart, fruity and bit funky finish. Nice Sour, enjoying it on the terrace in the garden on one of the first warm days of 2021.

Bottle pour @ Lya. Misty peachy golden body, white head. Glue, honey, light funk, some rhubarb? Odd but works. Tart, juicy, lean, funky enough, can't say I'd clearly pick out rhubarb but there's something fruity, sweetish maybe in the background behind the funk, working some pretty good magic. The character gets a bit gluey at times, but this works, by all means.
