Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting, bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a rich, roasty, light raisin, liqourice, dark chocolate, light dry coffee palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

By cask at GBBF Winter, Sonnet Bar. Shared with Finn and BeerViking. A fawn-coloured head remaining over a black body. Spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of grainy chocolate, roasted. Choco-coffee to the taste profile alongside moments of dark fruits towards the ending. Long-lived, warming ending. Does not taste that strong. Nice. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).

På GBBF Winter 2020 i Birmingham. Delt med Rune og BeerViking. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Lakrisaroma. Smaken kakao. Tørr. Litt alkohol i ettersmaken. Ikke dum.
