Bottle from Lidl, large sample. Label looks like we are thrown back into the 80s in Belgium. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma is slight spicy, bit fruity. Quite sweet in taste, some spicy yeast, bit sweet apple. Medium to high carbonation. Quite sweet for a blonde. Ok.

Helder donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig en zoet met iets van abrikoos en ananas.

Barwa ciemnozłota, delikatne zmętnienie. Piana biała, obfita, dość gruba, całkiem trwała. W aromacie goździki, brzoskwinie, nieco alkoholu, zapowiada słodkość w smaku. W smaku rzeczywiście dosyć słodkie i wyraźnie alkoholowe, goździki, brzoskwinie, karmelu nieco, chlebowe. Goryczka średnia, głównie alkoholowo-przyprawowa, same przyprawy dają spore odczucie pieczenia. Ciało i wysycenie w kierunku wysokiego, przez co jest ciężko pijalne. Ciekawe, jednak nie do końca zbalansowane i ogólnie nie moja bajka. Niemniej jednak warto spróbować.

Bottle with expiry date 26.02.2018, bought in Lidl in March 2015. Dark golden colour, rocky head, decent lacing. Aroma is not very intensive, with malt, caramel, a bit of hops, a little bit of alcohol that nonetheless disturbs a bit. Light sweetness. Lively carbonation. Unpleasantly sweet and cloying. Does not offer much.

suszone jabłka i gruszki, morele, czy inne bakalie w zapachu, wszystko to lekko słodkawe ale i kwaśne. wyraźne drożdże i troszkę goździka. kolor głębokiego złota, bardzo delikatnie opalizujący, zmętnienie równomierne. piana beżowa, średnio obfita, ale dość trwała. w smaku bardzo pełne, słodkie, słodowe, biszkoptowe z wyraźnymi drożdżowymi nutami. lekko dzikie. goryczki praktycznie brak. nasycenie dość wysokie, ale mimo to przez swoją słodycz dość aksamitne uczucie w ustach. piwo z nut zapachowych lekko przypomina pszenicę.

33 cl bottle, shared (small sample). Light copper/amber color, clear. Thick, uneven head, off white, good retention. Aroma’s: grain, malty sweet, fruit. Sweet fruit and sweet malts retronasal. Flavor is sweet, sweet fruit, not very distinct. Medium bodied, good carbo. Not much going on in the finish.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Clear dark orange color, small to medium sized quickly diminishing white head. Smell and taste malts, pretty fruity, dark fruits, light to moderately sweet. Hmm doesn’t taste bad but it doesn’t really strike me as an Abbey Tripel.
