27/6/2020. Bottle from Beer Cockermouth (beergb.com), and shared with the SHIG at the Cumbrian 20 bottle share. Pours slightly hazy golden with an orange tint and bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of butter, caramel, malt, slight skunky edge. Light to moderate sweetness and moderate bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Label said it was zesty but pretty much it was buttery.

500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb, cheers Ash! Pours pale gold, thin white head. Cereal and corn aromas, light lemon. Taste is light bitter, light sweet. Decent balance, even though there’s not a right lot going on.

50cl bottle from the Cartmel Village shop. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - cereal with some honey melded in. Taste - more honey cornflakes. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry middle section which continues into the long dry finish. Overall - solid but not that exciting.
