Following the Reinheitsgebot Purity laws of 1516, Pure Helles uses the finest English Maris Otter malt, Pilgrim hops from Worcestershire and a blend of classic noble hops of the highest quality from Bavaria that give Pure Helles a clean, refreshing and bright appearance but with that unmistakable Purity character.

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweet malt aroma mixed with a little sulphur. Medium body, clean, pale malts, flowery hops that also leave a solid bitterness. Very well brewed. 200122

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Clear golden, rich head. Fruity, doughy aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dough, floral grass, starch and apples. Fairly low bitterness. Not bad, but side by side with a Mahr's it is evident that there are still some way to go.

500ml Can - Golden with a white head. Grass, hay and some slightly floral notes in the aroma. Grassy, bready and slightly sweet taste with notes of hay, grass, straw and citrus.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a yellow straw with a whispery white head. Aroma is bread, yeast, banana, grain. Taste is banana esters, tangy fruit, malty grain dry backbone.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Hazy golden colour, white foam head and aroma of yeast, fruity, gluey, banana hint. Taste is grains, tangy, with fruity, yeasty notes and some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, medium-dry papery & earthy bitter finish. Quite OK
