Heerlijke herfstbock (7%) waarin een mix van karamel, herfstfruit en een lichte hopbitter prachtig bij elkaar komt. Van dit bier krijg je het zeker warm!

Fles van Mitra Bunnik. Bijna helder koperkleurig. Vrij traditionele bock, mooi in balans. Prima bier

Bottle at home. Color, brown, not very nice. Little head. But I like the taste.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierhuys Winkel', bottled in July 2017. Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, a little roasty and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and traces of raisins. Rather sweet, malty, a bit roasty and slightly fruity taste of toffee, burnt sugar, nuts, some milk chocolate and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and just a bit dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, round and quaffable Bock!

Almost no head but greyish-ochre rim; foxy brown-amber beer. Almonds, marzipan, sweet toasted malts, Belgian buns. Almonds, amandine, rosewater²; bit of parsley retronasal. Medium bodied, quite slick to even sticky. Again too sweet, certainly for a not overly strong Bock. If Bird had the same inspiration for the recipes as for their fantastic names, this brewery would shine above all. But alas... 5/4/6/3/12
