33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy brown with a light beige head. Caramel aroma with some dark fruits. Sweet nutty taste. Hopbitter finish. Good, almost German (dopppel)bock

On tap at Restaurant and Partycentrum De Haas, Elburg, Netherlands, sat outside on a gloriously sunny Tuesday 25th September 2018. Pours reddy/brown, almost clear with a big sticky off white head. Lots of toffee, some banana, in fact banana toffee it is then. Soft In the mouth a fruity bitter toffee finish, very good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Flesje gedronken bij B. en H. Roodbruin bier met stevig schuim. Aroma is koffie- en karamel-achtig. De smaak is zoetig en karamel-achtig. De nasmaak heeft ook de koffie en karamel smaak en blijft best even hangen.

Fles gedronken bij Bart&Hillig, het is een helder amberkleurig tot bruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig, caramel en licht drop achtig.

From tap at Rootz, winterbierfestival. Near clear brown with white head. Sweet malts, dried leaves, chestnut. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. Medium body, malty and slick, soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz festival. Almost clear reddish brown with small beige head. Sweet caramel, light roasted nuts, sugar, bubblegum, light old wood, dry earthy notes. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.

7 3 8 3 14 Draft at De la Gare. Hazy amber brown with a cream coloured head. Aroma of malt, yeast, overripe dark fruit and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Murky amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, liquorice, candy. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, liquorice, caramel, sugary, bit bready. Sugary sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel. Medium body, watery to sticky texture, soft carbonation, not really convincing bock.
