500nl bottle from Beers of Europe - Deep brown to black body, off white top. Nose is roasty caramel, very malty. Taste is lots of burnt dried fruit. Decent session beer.

Bottle: Poured a blackish brown with a light red tinge to the base, head was creamy lacing beige. Aroma is malty, some roast. Taste is roasted malts, light edginess hops.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - dark orange to red and autumnal. Nice off white head. Nose - light molasses and light smoke. Taste - more molasses. Light liquorice and smoke. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - good beer.

23/11/2018. Cask at the Dove, Ipswich. Pours dark ruby brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, biscuit, chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, soft to flat carbonation. Dry biscuity finish.
