Cask-conditioned at the Lion & Key, Hull March 2020. Medium in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Massive hazelnut character, a hint of caramel, slight toastiness and a moderately bitter finish. Avoided being overly sweet and good for it.

15/2/2020. Cask at the Lion & Key, Hull, sample courtesy of saxo & Rasmus40. Poured mid-dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hazelnut, chocolate, malt and caramel. Medium body and light bitterness. Moderate body and slightly watery but otherwise very nice.

Sample thanks to Rasmus and Saxo: Poured a dark brown with light brown edges. Aroma is big hazelnut and rich malts. Taste is amazing hazelnut, light chocolate, rich malts.

Cask @ Lion & Key, Hull. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich hazelnuts, chocolate, roast malt, hops and has a nice hazelnut finish. Quite sweet.

Cask @ Lion & Key, Hull. Black almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and heavy hazelnut. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 120220
