Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of red fruit and toffee, light spice. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Cask at Captain Cooks, Östersund. A smooth and somewhat creamy Christmasy ale from Allendale. Mahogany colour. Good head. (7/12/22).

15/2/2020. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle, sample courtesy of saxo & Rasmus40. Poured clear amber/copper with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, hops, fruit and light toasted notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a slight tart edge. Medium body. Nutty earthy finish.

Sample thanks to Rasmus and Saxo: Poured a brown orange with white head. Aroma is caramel malts. Taste is burnt malts, toffee, rugged backbone.

Bottle from CentrAle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, hops, flowers, nuts and has a sweet caramel grassy finish.
