A deep malty base, of melanoidin and crystal malts make this beer red in colour with great biscuity and caramel overtones to which we have added lashings of UK Golding, Cascade and Motueka hops, for an a lightly floral and supremely balanced bitter.

8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours clear dark copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, malt, hops and dried fruit. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Earthy finish with slight ashy notes.

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, fruits and malt. Nice sweet caramel finish.
