Bottle. Pumpkin malt and cinnamon/nutmeg aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Lightly sweet nutmeg, cinnamon and milky pumpkin malt flavor. Okay body. Not bad for a Shock Top.

Reviewed from notes.
This was always poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a slightly ruddy orange/brown color with a decent looking foamy white head. The lacing was fairly thick and coated the glass nicely.
The smell was mainly some Autumn like spices such as ginger, allspice and cinnamon. The pumpkin itself is pretty subdued.
The taste was spicy and sweet through the previously mentioned flavors.
On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable quality to it. The carbonation seems okay for the pumpkin ale style and to me.
Overall, decent pumpkin ale. There’s nothing bad nor is there anything spectacular about it.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange with medium off-white head. Spicy aroma with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Flavor matches aroma. Better than I thought it would be.

Bottle: A dull, brownish-orange pour with lots of bubbles and swirling particulates. Decent ring of creamy beige head with dark spots that mimic sprinkles of nutmeg. Nose is nutmeg, light cloves. The cloves come through stronger in the taste, along with the cinnamon. Picking up some Belgian style yeast, along with pumpkin. Cinnamon gets a little more intense in the tail. Not bad at all, not a world beater by any means, but not as poor as the ratings suggest.

Location: 12 oz bottle, 10/17/13
Aroma: The nose is basically nonexistent, hints of wheat, maybe the slightest amount of spice
Appearance: it pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head and no lace
Flavor: The taste is dull wheat, hints of spice, mild sweetness, not terrible, just completely dull
Palate: The body is light, there's lively carbonation, and an overall thinness
Overall Impression: This one is barely worth rating. There's nothing wrong with the flavor here because it barely exists at all. Dull, uninspired, and not a pumpkin beer.

Bottle. Pours amber-orange with a small puffy white head. Smells of cinnamon and nutmeg. Tastes of watery spices: nutmeg, close... very light bodied.

Bottle over the weekend. Aroma had notes of light pumpkins, some very mild spice character here. Flavor had a very mild pumpkin character to it, but largely bland - both in any actual pumpkin notes or in spices. Mostly Harmless, I guess.
