Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy orange/amber with a creamy near-beige head. Moderate pie spice aroma. Mostly nutmeg. Med minus body. It’s pie spice and detectable wheat. Maybe a bit too much clove. Certainly one of the better Shock Top ales.

This wheat beer poured a crystal clear, amber colour with a nice, fizzy, off white head. To the nose there are scents of pumpkin, allspice, a little cream and bread. First sip was very thin with flavours of pumpkin and all spice with a little ginger and malt. Finish is pumkin filled with the light bitterness lingering.

Bottle. Faint lemony wheat aroma. Hazy amber with a moderate off-white head. Light pumpkin and pumpkin spices flavor. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Not horrible, and better than any of their other offerings I’ve tried.

Not bad looking, hazy orange-amber color, frothy head and heavy lacing. Light pumpkin nose with a hint of nutmeg. Flavor is more empty, with light pumpkin and insdistinct spice elements. Nice soft palate though, surprising. It hits on 2 points: appearance and palate, the rest is meh.

Pumpkin nose, subtle hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Clear orange, medoum head. Astringent pumpkin and light malt. Light body, alcohol noyiceable. Quite tart. Doesn’t go overboard with spicing.

12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a very hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pumpkin and pumpkin spices. The taste is pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice and very faint citrus and wheat. Thin-medium bodied. Pretty generic but not bad.

$1.95 for the single bottle. Enjoyed in a tulip. Dark burnt orange. Minimal head. heavy on the cloves and brown sugar. Hints of pumpkin. Hint of pumpkin at the start. Dry very earthy bavarian german yeast taste. Not too satisfying.
