Bottle from Bernie’s Off License, Solihull. Poured a light straw colour with a broken white head. The aroma is light hop, citrus fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt hop bitter zesty lemon citrus palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, 4.1%. Pours slightly hazy amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of fruit and citrus. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with pronounced estery and citric notes. Hints of nuts. Bitter, rough aftertaste. Drinkable and OK, but nothing extraordinary.

"Handcrafted in the Cotswold Hills since 1849". You’d think they could’ve come up with something a bit better by now. Times change, tastes change, technology changes. Pours clear gold, very minimal white head. Aromas are buttery, some light floral hops. Taste has a little spice, but mostly water. Promised pizzazz plainly passed. Piffle.

Bottle, 4.2%. Cloudy yellow colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is malty with a weak grassy hop note. Good mouthfeel, even a little isotonic.

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear dark nutty golden one with a small bubbly white head. On the nose I get soft watery fruits, some hops, peach and soft grass. Mild fair aroma. It's light oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is right about average. Really easy to drink. Subtle fruity, it has a surprisingly good bitterness, light hoppy. Some sweetness also present here. By all means it's not easy picking this in a blind test against any old OK bitter/golden, but it's at least not boring all the way. A decent one. 27.04.2013

Bottle from Brewdog Slovensko. Clear amber colour. Medium sized white head, stable. Aroma rather malty / honey, with just light hops. Taste is not amazing, but not bad either. Medium bitterness, with nice spice-earth-grass hopy flavour. However I sense some metallic off-flavour. Also this beer is rather thin bodied. Easily drinkable. Dry hoppy/metallic finish. Good summer thirst quencher, not particulary delightful though.
