Our brewers selected flavour packed, slow kilned ale malt, caramalt and biscuity malted wheat to craft a malt backbone which is then beautifully complemented by a heady hop aroma of zesty lemon and orange citrus. This golden ale finishes refreshing and moreish.

Hops: First Gold, Cascade, Fuggles, Citra, Centennial
Malt: Pale ale, Caramalt, Wheat

500ml bottle: BBE Dec 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 4th Nov 2017. Liked the cask version, let's see if this 'live tasting' comes up trumps too. Nice light amber/orange body, clean and clear; the head a foaming blanket of off-white bubbles. Aroma has both hints of hops and maltiness, nice blend in the nose. The taste is semi-sweet, slightly fruity and hop bitter. Decent, but the cask offering is better in my opinion, just a little too much carbonation in the bottle.

From a bottle at home in Aberfoyle. Clear golden color, little white head. Just a nice taste, fresh, but in my opinion just a normal "pils".

Bottle from Coop, Kirkwall. Májkrémes, gyógyszeres mellékíz, egy rosszabb dobozosra emlékeztet.

Cask at the White Horse - Parsons Green. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Somewhat doughy pale malts in the nose, straw, a little zesty lemon. Light sweet flavour with crispy biscuits, more lemony hops, mild bitter hay, pale grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Creamy texture. Alright balance in the finish, more lemon, biscuits. Easy going stuff. Fine.

Bottled 500ml. -Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild fruity hoppy nose. Sweetish malty, mild fruity, grassy hoppy, notes of caramel and mild bitterish hoppy finish. Pleasant surprise.
