Our brewers selected flavour packed, slow kilned ale malt, caramalt and biscuity malted wheat to craft a malt backbone which is then beautifully complemented by a heady hop aroma of zesty lemon and orange citrus. This golden ale finishes refreshing and moreish.
Hops: First Gold, Cascade, Fuggles, Citra, Centennial
Malt: Pale ale, Caramalt, Wheat

Dobre i tresciwe a za tym goryczkowe piwo z krzepka wielka piana i zlotym kolorze. Wszystko ladnie wyglada, a smak takze dobry z pomarancza w tle i inne cytrusy kilka zroznicowanych chmieli. Wytrawny finisz. Piwo przyjemne w piciu i nie meczy.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2009. Good looking, clear golden with a big, lasting white head. Not much aroma, some grain and hint of citric fruit. Plain and simple flavor, light malt, hint of fruit, not much bitterness. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Pretty average but drinkable.

A malty effort, but some hops are available in the taste. Golden with a very thin head.

Cask at Blackriars, Aberdeen. It pours golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet tinned fruit, lemon and straw. The taste is straw, hint of tinned fruit, hay, grass and soapy lemon, with a bitter-dry finish. Thin-medium body and soft carbonation. Very disappointing and forgetful.

Bottle at The Flying Horse. Pours golden with a pillowy head. Taste of honney, orange cest and lemon. Freh but bitter and hevier than the abv indicates. A bit like a more bitter Trashy Blond.

Pours a slightly cloudy light amber color with a smallish white head that dissipates quickly but covers the glass in a fair amount of sticky lace. Smells malty bready with a hint of butterscotch and nail polish. Sweet dark pitted fruit and a hint of toffee round out the nose quite well. Taste is sweet and malty with a bit of bread and toffee up front. Lots of butterscotch coated berries and cherries in here. Slightly earthy hop barely cuts through malty sweetness. Surprising fullness of body for such a small abv. Moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost oily mouthfeel. Not to shabby of a beer, if it were a bit easier to obtain I might have one periodically.

Aroma: Yeasty, bready smell dampened by the fluffy head. Nice juicy grapefruit notes.
Appearance: Clear golden body with huge foamy white head. Medium carbonation, excellent lacing.
Taste: Clean and hoppy - nice grapefruit flavour balanced with a nutty pale malt flavour.
Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Nice bitter finish.
Overall: A decent beer that tastes better each time I go back to it. The hoppy grapefruit flavours are really nice but are balanced by the pale malt.
