Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap @ Patricks. Dark golden body with a big creamy off white head that quickly disappears. The citric aroma is relatively mild but complex, slightly dominated by grapefruit. There is also a solid malt and caramel nose behind the citric. The aroma is pleasant without being really distinct in any direction, it feels just well composed. Flavor gives pretty much the same impression that the aroma indicates. No really outstanding flavors in any directions, but a pretty solid and balanced IPA. Several different citric flavors, particular grapefruit, malt, caramel and well balanced bitterness. This beer gives me in some kind of perspective the feeling of being “not too sweet, not too bitter, not too alcoholic etc” just a nice and solid IPA.

On tap at Patricks. An unclear, amber beer with a dense, two-finger, off-white head leaving lacings. Sugary maltyness on the nose, some caramel. Grapefruit and citrus peel most evident though. It’s smooth and full-bodied on the palate, with a pleasant bitterness lasting for a good while. Malty sweetness as a foundation for the mostly hoppy flavor where citrus peel and grapefruit are allowed to play. Lasting bitter and hoppy finish. A really pleasant IPA, nicely balanced too. 110625
