pours very dark with a brown head.
aroma of sweet licorice, erasor or rubber, bourbon, fainter roasted malts. intense but also some kinda semi weird glue like notes, perhaps from the barrels.
flavor is spot on really good with a near perfect balance between the bourbon and the roasted malts. ends with a long roasted malty aftertaste. very good balance and very blended. In the flavor i think the wood is in fact a bit less than some of the other vintages, but i do get some charred wood, and only a faint tiny hint of the glue that was much stronger in the aroma. no oxidation that i can detect which is nice for a 7yr old capped bottle.
Happeline, röstine, linnaseline, šokolaad. Ok.
Dark roasted sweet malty, lots of chocolate, fudge, bourbon soaked malty lingering close. Lovely.
Phew.
Medium body, a bit boozy, sweetish. Bourbon and chocolate with some caramel, held up well, really smooth. Good as always.

500ml bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a slightly murky medium brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big molasses, toffee caramel, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a silky smooth, gloopy, rich, oily, roasty, treacle, oaky bourbon, boozy palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

To celebrate the purchase of our first own house. Black colour, brown head with reasonable retention. Aroma's: sweet, wood, vanilla, boozy, sou sauce. Retronasal it's sweet, vanilla, bourbon/boozy, toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet, boozy, fruity alcohol. Alcohol feel is not overwhelming though. Medium to full bodied. Long finish. Delicious as always.
