Amber, generous, with bronze highlights. Great aromatic intensity, with notes of nuts and candied fruits in the bouquet, slightly spicy. Particularly soft and elegant body, with excellently balanced hints of malt, caramel and hops. A beer that distinctly leaves its mark.

Amber colour with small off white head.Aroma of hops and grain man ld apples and citrus note boozy taste caramel and grain sweet with some hint of syrup to unbalced and boring beer.

Aroma of minerals, sweet malt, bread, and a sweet nutiness. Flavor is dominated by a cloyingly sweet malt/booziness. Harsh dry bitter alcohol finish, and a sweet cheap booze punch. Christ this was awful.

Swingtop-bottle 0,5ltr bought it in Italy: Hazy orange colour with hints of caramel and easy to drink due the 10% of alcolohol.

clear orange to amber colour, moderate sized creamy ecru-ish head; aroma and taste of apple peel, honey, some orange peel cereals and biscuity notes; quite good one; many thanks for sharing, kapusil!

0.5l swing top bottle. Clear orange body with a white head. Aroma and taste of sugar syrup, apples, orange zest and some and some floral hops. OK beer.

Swing-top bottle. Niestety nie trafione w dobra jakosc piwo. Slodkie, za slodkie, alkohol wyczuwalny, nadmiernie slodowe, jezyk zasypany cukrem, jakies maliny syrop na kaszel, teraflu i posmak karmelu. Dosadniej miod poslodzony cukrem. Wiekszosc do wylania bo ryzykowac mozna cukrzyca.

75cl bottle from Conad, Assisi. Clear dark golden-amber, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe plum, cooked apple, pear, baked banana, wet clove, dough, rum. Taste has sweet plum, cooked apple & pear; phenolic clove & pepper, seasoning even in the middle, over doughy, honeyish maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, tad peppery, spicy, lingering ripe fruit & warming rum-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not refined but enjoyable.

Viele italienische Biere, die an Ferienorten vertrieben werden, sind ja leichte Strandbiere. Dieses aber nicht. Es ist ein schweres Strong Ale nach belgischen Vorbild und wie die anderem Biere nach einer Figur aus einem Fellini-Film benannt. Ich habe den Fehler gemacht, es am Strand von Rimini zu trinken, was es etwas erschwerte, es fair zu bewerten... Es ist schön aromatisch und hat einen vollen Körper und ortenlich Fruchtaromen, die auch gut miteinander harmonieren. Der Name ließ mich etwas Rauchigkeit erahnen, diese ist aber weder gewollt noch merkt man etwas. Sicher ein gutes Bier an einem frischen Winterabend.
