Slightly cloudy orange. Aroma of bitter grapefruit and lime marmelade. Similar taste with pale malt sweetness. Fairly thick mouthfeel.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a firm and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly bready and yeasty malty aroma with delicately sweaty notes and citric hops. Slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Dry malt character with subtle notes of citrus and grassy hops; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish, again with grassy spots. Decent and refreshing. 16.IV.14

Bottle: Distinctive lemony-hoppy nose with subdued medical traces and backed by clean pale malt; golden coloured, visible carbonation, medium sized persistent White head; spicy bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied - not watery - and relatively soft; a slight tartness is detectable in the dry lingering citrussy-hoppy finish. Very pleasant stuff...

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden-honey coloured with a smooth head and smooth tasting. Easy on the palate session bitter with a small fruity character that lingers.

(Cask at Black Door, 20140301) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had sweetness, earth, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, earth, hint of toffee, some malts and lowish bitterness. Aftertaste had English hops and bitterness. More like a golden ale than a bitter but still decent.

Flavour is stale ish biscuit malt, some onion and grassy lemony hop. Light spicy hop in the finish. English yeast esters are present. OK. Not great.

Clear golden color, good white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty, a bit estery. Light to medium bodied. Fruity, slightly sweet front, then nice tickling bitterness. Overall quite tasty, but a bit too watery and empty palate.
