Tap at Hopscotch. Nose of dark chocolate, creamy, bit of umami, nutty. Dry chocolate flavor, creamy, some vanilla. Sweet at the start, then dry, with light roast. Nice.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee and dried fruit, with a hard roasted, ashy note, and diacetyl. Dry with a strange unbalanced fruity and ashy flavour

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours ruby-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Mild roast and milk chocolate in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor, notes of brown sugar, decent roast, cocoa, slight lactic sugars. Light bodied with fine carbonation and in great condition. Subtle coffee in the finish, dark milk chocolate malts. Faint dark fruits. Great stuff.

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, cold coffee, butter. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, cold coffee, sweet chocolate, butter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110803]

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours amber with a off white head. Toffee, bread and liquorice. Smooth and medium bodied.

Cask@GBBF2011. Very deep ambery brown colour, small head. Aroma is roasted malts, some mild nutty notes as well as some mild liquorice and slight ashyness. Flavour is well, some liquorice, mild nutty notes, some chocolate and mild earthyness as well.

From cask. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark malty, slight butterish and toffee. Bitter, dark malty, roasted and slight toffee. Dark roasted lasting flavoured, swept in a light butterish note.
