Aroma of bready malt, fruits, some citrus, spicy notes, touch of tyme, hoppy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. I don’t crave for another one, but this is a decent well-balanced spiced Maibock.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an nice taste of thyme. I drunk some French beers with thyme, and this Dutch version is more gentle in taste.

Bottle. Amber color. Thyme and tropical fruit in the aroma. Malty sweetish, spicy flavor (anis, thyme). Too big in the spices, hampering the balance.

Bottle past bb date. Hazy light brown with big off-white head. Light malts, brown sugar, fresh brown bread, sunflower seeds, grapefruit juice, fudge. There’s indeed some herbs in the background but they’re quite soft, and give a light bitter finish to this quite sweet beer. There’s also a bit chemical/alcoholic notes throughout that can be because of the age. Medium bodied with full but soft carbonation. OK

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is herbs, spices, some malts along with some fruity notes. Flavour is quite a fruity version of the same with some nice herbal notes in the finish. Refreshing brew.

Light hazy medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, collapses to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma malty, thyme, yeast, herbal, citrus. Taste medium bitter, slightly sweet, thyme. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry bittersweet finish, herbal notes. Nicely balanced beer.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Herbal aroma with a thyme note, cautious fruity background with hints of pear. Taste has a minimally soapy thyme note, an unspecific fruity touch, in the finish dry, minimally astringent, herbal. Not bad, but sadly slightly soapy.
