Tap at Jimmy’s No. 43, Mike Lovullo Tasting Session. Pours a clear, reddish gold. Light, pilsner malt aroma. Flavor similar to a pilsner, but sweeter. Light to medium in body, well carbonated, a tad syrupy. Crisp and semi-refreshing. (May 2010, Score: 3.4)

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF 2014 Tasting - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy white head. Moderately sweet with notes of honey, paper and cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly chewy. Sugary finish with more simple cereal malts and pale bread. Fine. (August 2014, Score: 3.3)

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Tomer. Clear golden with a small white head that disappears immediately. Aroma of malt, caramel notes, light graininess and a bit of herbal hops. Sweet malty flavor with a bit of honey, cookie notes and a bitter herbal finish. Medium-bodied.

At a tasting, small head, clear pale orange colour, aroma of biscuit, herbs, wax and a hint of honey, strong malty sweetness complemented by an assertive but not too strong bitterness and also a dump sensation, long sweet and sour aftertaste.

Funky little green bottle that made its way to a local bottle shop. Pours a clear copper color with a smallish head that dies to a film of bubbles quickly. Aromas are straight apple juice concentrate and silo grain dust. Flavor is pretty similar, but there is some sort of chemical/metal bite that is fairly unpleasant. Almost a metal and rotten something flavor. It’s not completely overpowering, but it is unpleasant enough to seriously dampen the enjoyment of this.

Bottle. Light brown color with a foamy white head. Quite nice malty aroma with hints of caramel, apricot, peas and some bread. The taste was sweeter than the smell, if one can say that something smells sweet. A little fruity, and there were a lot of malt. Bitterness was decent, the aftertaste was not that long.

bottle, pours carmel brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is bread and nutty malts with a thin layer of hops. Flavor is nice and full malt bodied with tons of nut and sweet doughy malt, nicely balanced in a crisp dry hoppy finish. Very good.
