Tap @ Utrechts bokbier ’10. Slight hazy orange color, medium head. Aroma of some caramel and grain, no smoke or whisky noticeable. Bit sweet taste, slightly bitter. I was expecting a bit more from this young brewery.

Bottle:Deep amber coloured, hazy, slowly collapsing mid-sized tanned head; toasty and caramelly nose, a tinge of vanilla detectable, aromatic hops underneath; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; drier hoppy - a bit harsh - finish with traces of dark malt and smoke(?). Solid brew, could be better balanced.....

Bottle from De Bierkoning. Brewed by Praght. Deep dark brown color. Maltaroma with pineapple. Malty sweet, soft roasty flavor with a touch of smoke and a hint of cheap Scotch whisky. The whisky malt gives this standard bock just the extra edge.
