Sterk verfrissend bier op basis van witbier en weizen. Zacht volle moutsmaak en zoet romig in de afdronk. Geniet van deze unieke smaakcombinatie van wit en weizen.

300ml bottle. Cloudy orangey colour with small, collapsing white head. Wheaty, fruity aroma has notes of pear and banana. Taste is initially moderately sweet wheaty, minimally fruity, bready middle part, fresh citrus note in the finish; flat carbonation.

Fles 30cl thuis. Tarwesmaak, voor een wit prima, wel weinig spannend. (6-2012).

Small, snowwhite head over fully hazy yellow beer. Dull-spicy nose, nothing in particular, dough, rootspices, citrussy and obvious wheat. Wheat, ultra-dry grain and lightstruck, overaged spices. Citrus with every new sip. CO² finishes having the most impact on the taste, save for the wheat. Light bodied, very spritzy. Bland wit.

Not a very good whitebeer I would say. It’s easy to drink, but compared to the best whitebeers I’ve had so far, this one is just a simple average one. Nothing wrong, nothing special. Taste, rate, forget.

300 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Hazy pale golden colour, big white head. Wheaty and spicy aroma, notes of cloves and coriander (even though coriander has not been added, the spiciness comes from the yeast alone), also notes of over-ripe and decaying bananas. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation in the glass. Clean and very refreshing wheaty flavour, with hints of bananas and a mild spiciness, not too sweet. Moderate hops in the aftertaste. Moreish - one bottle is not enough!

Bottled. A murky dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and wheat as well as light notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty and slightly metallic finish.
