Bottle at Reading BF 06. Hazy gold colour. Eggy , yeasty aroma, over carbonated in mouth. Bit sweet. Interesting bock style beer, citric lemon on the finish

Hazy orange ale with no head. No carbonation. Light thyme and sweet honey aroma. Cardboard taste of overdone honey and cloying sweetness. Medium bodied. May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured, very unclear with lots of floating impurities. Not much head - but when you remove the cap this almost shoots out of the bottle. Very full-bodied from the four different malts but presumeably neither added sugars nor syrup. But pronounced sweetness. Bock perhaps but top-fermented. 161102

Bottled (BB 03/2006)
Hazy orange, small firm off-white head. Citrus-yeasty nose. Citrusy flavor mixed with sugary sweetness. Toffeeish - caramelly mouthfeel. Some hops lie in the background.

Draught Fully hazy orange; no head but 1mm rim. Peppery-citrus nose, some grains, but in the background only. Oxydized!! This is drunk fresh at the tap on a festival! Unbelievable. Cookies, maltwafers. Light MF, but with a marked grist slickness. No carbonation left after 1’... Why is this beer oxydized? It just isn’t logical - until they served the Maibock from 2004?
